Day 1: Pick up & Transfer to Kibale National Park
From Kampala or Entebbe, your driver guide will pick you up early in the morning to start your 8 Days Uganda Primates and Kenya Wildlife Safari. You’ll then drive to Kibale National Park where you’ll enjoy your first adventure on this primate and wildlife tour. The journey to Kibale National Park is a long journey that takes you through the scenic Uganda countryside with stunning landscapes and natural beauty. You’ll drive past various tourist towns along the way before finally arriving at the Kibale National Park.

Day 2: Enjoy a Chimpanzee Tracking Experience at Kibale National Park
Start your day early in the morning with breakfast. After breakfast, depart the lodge and head to the park headquarters. At the park headquarters, you’ll join groups of other trekkers for a briefing session. The park rangers will take you through the Do’s and Don’ts of chimpanzee tracking, best safety tips, and what to expect during the trek.
After briefing, follow the lead of your ranger guide and indulge deep in the forest to search for the elusive chimpanzees in Kibale Forest National Park. You’ll navigate the forest while following various signals as the ranger guide will be guiding you through this experience. After a long trek, you’ll then locate these elusive primates in their natural habitat.
Chimpanzees are human closest relatives and you will feel a sense of familiarity as these primates try to mimic human behaviors. You’ll witness the young ones play, and feed. Spend a full hour observing these primates in their natural habitat before finally starting your journey back to the starting point. Transfer back to the lodge and spend the rest of your day relaxing at the lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Start your day with an early morning breakfast. After breakfast at your lodge, embark on a transfer to Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable National Park where you’ll be enjoying your next primate adventure on this 8 Days Uganda Primates and Kenya Wildlife Safari.
Drive through the scenic countryside of Uganda and witness its stunning beauty with rolling hills and beautiful landscapes. Procced with your drive, arriving in Bwindi in the afternoon. Upon arrival at Bwindi, drive to your booked safari lodge and check in.
Spend your day relaxing at the lodge or embark on other optional safari activities that like nature walks, cultural tours, and birding walks that can be arranged at an extra fee.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
Today you’ll embark on the long-awaited mountain gorilla trekking experience. Start your day early in the morning with breakfast. After breakfast, depart the lodge and head to the park headquarters. At the park headquarters, you will join other trekkers for a briefing session about gorilla trekking. After the briefing session, you’ll be divided into small groups of 8 members and each group will be allocated a gorilla family that they will be trekking.
Indulge in the forest to search for the endangered mountain gorillas. The trek takes you through challenging terrain and thick vegetation in Bwindi, you’ll witness the biodiversity in the forest including birds, different mammal species, butterflies, and plant life. After along trek in the forest, you’ll finally encounter the gorillas in the forest. Brace yourself for this life changing moment. Spend about one hour observing these majestic and gentle giants in their natural habitats as they feed, groom their young ones, and play – all under the watch of the giant silverback. After your allocated time with the gorillas elapses, return to the visitors center. You’ll be picked up and transferred back to the lodge for a refreshing meal and short rest.
In the evening, embark on a cultural tour of the Batwa community. Spend time interacting with the local Batwa, and learn about their ways of life, culture, and knowledge of the forest. Later in the evening, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Arrive at Entebbe in the late evening and drive to your booked hotel.

Embark on a full-day adventure in Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve. Start your day with breakfast at the lodge, after breakfast, depart with you packed lunch for a full day adventure. Masai Mara National Reserve is home to the spectacular wildebeest migration and the African Big Five animals that you’ll enjoy watching during your adventure here. Your driver guide will take you to various wildlife hotspots within the reserve for opportunities to witness different wildlife species, for those interested in witnessing the spectacular wildebeest migration, you’ll follow the migration trails for opportunities to witness the large herds of mammal grazers.
Expect to encounter lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant among other wildlife species on your full day adventure.
