Day 1: Arrive at Entebbe International Airport & transfer to hotel for Overnight
You’ll arrive at Entebbe International Airport to start this 11 Days Uganda Kenya and Zanzibar Safari. From Entebbe, you’ll be welcomed and received by our representatives who then transfer you to the hotel within Entebbe town. On the way to the hotel, you’ll be briefed about this 11 Days Grand East African Safari.
Arrive at the hotel, check-in and relax to kill the jetlag.

Day 2: Fly to Kihihi Airstrip in Kisoro & Transfer to your Bwindi Lodge
Enjoy an early morning breakfast at the lodge. After breakfast, drive to the airport to catch your flight to Kihihi Airstrip in Kisoro. Enjoy this incredible flight taking you low over Uganda and offering stunning views of the stunning and dramatic landscapes beneath you.
Arrive at Kihihi airstrip where your safari guide will meet you and transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Upon arrival at the park, proceed with a drive to your booked safari lodge. Arrive and check in at your lodge.
Spend the rest of your day at leisure, relax, or perhaps take part in optional activities (at additional cost) including forest walks, birdwatching, and village walks.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Following an early morning breakfast at your lodge, embark on a gorilla trekking adventure in Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The trek starts with a briefing at the visitors center. After briefing, you’ll follow the lead of your ranger guide and indulge in the forest to search for mountain gorillas. You’ll navigate the thick forests as your ranger huide paves way for you. After a long trek, you’ll finally locate the gorillas and have an opportunity to observe them for about one full hour.
Enjoy viewing gorillas in their natural habitat and take photos and videos for memories. After your allocate time with the gorillas, start your trek back to the starting point. You’ll be presented with a certificate of participation at the visitors center. Return to the lodge for a refreshing meal and short rest.
In the evening, embark on a thrilling cultural tour to the local Batwa communities. Experience new ways of life and immerse in various cultura activities with the Batwa. Later return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer Back to Entebbe
Wake up and have breakfast at the lodge. After breakfast, depart the lodge and embark on a short drive to Kihihi Airstrip in Kisoro. You’ll then board your flight to Entebbe International Airport. From Entebbe, connect to your outbound flight to Kenya. Arrive in Kenya’s Jommo Kenyatta International airport where our Kenya representatives will pick you up and transfer you to a hotel in Nairobi. Spend the rest of your day relaxing at the lodge.

Day 5: Travel to Masai Mara National Reserve & Evening Game Drive
From Your hotel in Nairobi, you’ll be picked up early in the morning for a transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy the journey to Masai Mara diving through the scenic Rift valley region. You’ll arrive in Masai Mara National Reserve in time for lunch and proceed to your booked safari lodge.
Check in at the lodge and enjoy lunch. After lunch, embark on your first wildlife viewing safari in Masai Mara National Reserve. This iconic Reserve is home to a diverse range of wildlife species including lions, leopard, rhinos, buffalos, elephants, giraffes, hyenas, cheetahs, hippos, wildebeest, and zebras among others. Enjoy exploring the Mara while taking in the breathtaking views of its charming savannas. Later return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Full Days adventure in Masai Mara National Reserve
Start your day early in the morning with breakfast. After breakfast, embark on a full-day adventure in the Mara. You’ll enjoy witnessing various wildlife species like zebra, impala, gazelle, wildebeest, buffalo, rhino, and elephant, plus lion, cheetah and leopard. For those more keen to see the spectacular wildebeest migration, there is a great opportunity on this day. You’ll follow the migration trails for opportunities to encounter the large herds of migrating wildebeests.
Lunch will be enjoyed in between the game drives. After lunch, continue with your exploration of Masai Mara National Reserve. After your adventure, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7: Fly to Zanzibar & Transfer to the Beach
Enjoy a sunrise game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve and later transfer to the airstrip for a scheduled light aircraft flight to Nairobi. From Nairobi, you’ll board a connecting flight to the exotic island of Zanzibar.
Arrive at Zanzibar and proceed to your booked hotel. There are various accommodations from which you can choose. Spend the rest of your day at the hotel. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Day 8-10: Zanzibar Experience
For the next three days enjoy Zanzibar at your leisure. With its beautiful sandy beaches, clear turquoise waters, and colorful coral reefs, Zanzibar will give you a perfect post-safari relaxation experience. For adventurous travelers, there are plenty of excursions that you can join, including visits to historic Stone Town, Jozani Forest, Prison Island, the spice plantations, and cultural tours to local villages. Among other experiences you can do here are; mountain biking, hiking, bird watching, windsurfing, kite surfing, sea kayaking, and sailing. The island also has fantastic coral reefs which are perfect for diving and snorkeling. You may even be lucky enough to see dolphins, green turtles, and, at certain times of the year, whale sharks.
