Day 01: Arrival in Tanzania

Arrive at Tanzania’s Kilimanjaro International Airport to start your classic 10 Days Tanzania Wildlife Safari tour. At the airport, you will be received and welcomed by one of our representatives. You’ll be transferred to your booked hotel within Arusha. Along the way, you will be briefed about this 10 Days Wildlife safari in Tanzania/2Weeks Wildlife safari in Tanzania. Day 02: Travel Arusha National Park & Game drives

Start your day with a sumptuous breakfast at your lodge. After breakfast, depart the lodge and embark on a drive to Arusha National Park for your first wildlife sightseeing experience on this 10 days safari tour in Tanzania. Arrive at the park and enjoy your first game drive. Spanning about 137 km², Arusha National Park is one of the smallest national Parks in Tanzania, however, this hidden game is a great safari place to visit for wildlife viewing safari. This national Park is home to zebras, giraffes, buffalos, elephants, hippos, and various bird species that you’ll witness during your game drive adventure here.

While on the game drive, explore various landmarks like the Ngurdoto crater and the Momella Lakes that all add to the excitement of witnessing different wildlife species that call this place home. Have a lunch break and enjoy lunch at a scenic spot in the park.

In the afternoon, continue with your exploration Arusha National Park. Go for a community walk that allows you to explore local markets, and villages for opportunity to witness how it all happens in Africa. For the more adventurous travelers, there is another option of a cycling tour that is guided by local experts – this tour takes you through various villages. Late after your adventure, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 03: Transfer to Tarangire National Park & Game drives

Wake up and enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, depart your hotel and start your journey to Tarangire National Park for your next wildlife adventure on this 10 Days Wildlife Tanzania Safari Tour. The drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park is short ant takes only about 2 hours through the scenic countryside. Enjoy witnessing Tanzania’s natural beauty and spectacular landscapes. Arrive at Tarangire National Park and embark on a morning game drive in the park.

Tarangire National Park is renowned for wildlife viewing in Tanzania and the world at large, especially for its large elephant herds that are accustomed to safari vehicles. While on safaris here, you’ll enjoy witnessing these majestic animals just a few meters from your safari vehicle. Besides elephants, there are various other wildlife species that inhabit the park including lions, leopards, rhinos, buffalos, hyenas, cheetahs, and oryx among other.

As it approaches lunch time, drive en-route to the lodge. Arrive at the lodge and check in. Lunch will be served at the lodge.

After lunch, enjoy another thrilling wildlife viewing safari game drive in Tarangire National Park. Explore various locations within the park to increase your chances of see species that you might have missed during the previous game drive. After your adventure, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 04: Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park & Mto wa Mbu visit

After breakfast at your lodge, depart for Lake Manyara National Park. Drive northwest of Tarangire National Park for about 2 hours, across stunning Tanzania landscapes – enjoy witnessing Tanzania’s stunning landscapes and natural beauty along the way. As you approach Lake Manyara, stop an the Mto wa Mbu where you’ll enjoy an immersive cultural experience. After your cultural experience, proceed with your drive to Lake Manyara National Park.

Arrive at you’re the lodge in Manyara and check in. Lunch will be served at the lodge, enjoy lunch before embark on another thrilling wildlife viewing adventure on this 10 Days Tanzania Wildlife Safari.

After lunch, head out for your first game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara National Park is popular for its unique tree climbing lions that are usually seen lounging on the acacia tree branches. Explore the park for opportunities to spot various wildlife species before finally returning to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 05: Full days exploring Lake Manyara National Park

Today, you’ll spend the whole day exploring Lake Manyara National Park for opportunities to witness its natural wonders. Wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast, after breakfast depart the lodge with your packed lunch for a full day safari tour in Lake Manyara National Park.

Enjoy driving in the park while spotting; lions, buffalos, impalas, gazelles, leopards, waterbucks, zebras, giraffes, hippos, warthogs, jackals, and bushbucks among others that all call this place home. For bird lovers, there is also a vast array of birdlife in Lake Manyara National Park especially water birds that can be spotted in various habitats in the park.

Have a lunch break in between the game drives and enjoy lunch at a scenic spot within the park. After lunch, continue with your adventure in Lake Manyara National Park.

Later return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 06: Transfer to Serengeti & visit to Olduvai Gorge

Wake up early in the morning and enjoy a delicious breakfast at the lodge. After breakfast, check out of the lodge and embark on a journey to Serengeti National Park. The drive to Serengeti National Park from Lake Manyara takes approximately 5 – 6 hours. Drive through the scenic Rift valley and Maasai villages before arriving at the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Visit the Olduvai Gorge, a museum located near the site where archaeologists Louis and Mary Leaky discovered the Homo habilis in the 1960s.

After an educative experience at Olduvai Gorge, continue with your drive to Serengeti National Park. Arrive at Serengeti National Park and drive to your booked safari lodge or camp. Arrive at the lodge and check in. Spend the rest of your afternoon relaxing and unwinding at the lodge.

Day 07: Exploring the iconic Serengeti National Park

Wake up early in the morning and enjoy a sumptuous breakfast at the lodge. After breakfast, head for an early morning game drive in Serengeti. During your game drive you will have plenty opportunities to spot top African wildlife species. Serengeti National Park is home to large numbers of wildlife species including the iconic African Big Five Animals (lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo, and elephant), giraffes, hyenas, cheetahs, African Wild Dogs, hippos, Nile crocodiles, wildebeest, zebras, and warthogs among others. Enjoy witnessing all these species while on safaris here.

You’ll have a lunch break in between the game drives. After lunch, proceed with your exploration of Serengeti National Park. At sun set, witness the scenic vast Serengeti wilderness turn golden as the setting sun casts the golden shadow creating stunning views and great backgrounds for photography in Tanzania. Later after your adventure here, return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 8: Morning game drive & afternoon transfer to Ngorongoro

Wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast at the lodge. Depart your lodge after breakfast for a short wildlife game drive in Serengeti plains for an opportunity to witness its wildlife once more. Explore different areas that you didn’t visit the previous day for opportunities to spot all the species that you might have missed seeing during previous game drives. After your morning adventure in Serengeti, drive back to the lodge. Refresh and check out of your lodge.

Embark on a drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, passing by the Ngorongoro Conservation Area one of the wildlife rich areas in Tanzania. You’ll enjoy viewing different wildlife here before continuing with your drive to the crater rim where your safari lodge is located.

Arrive at your lodge and check in. Spend the rest of your afternoon relaxing and unwinding at the lodge.

Day 09: Exploring Ngorongoro Crater 

Wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast at the lodge. After breakfast, depart the lodge for a full day adventure in the Ngorongoro Crater. The world’s largest intact volcanic caldera ‘‘the Ngorongoro Crater’’ is a UNESCO world heritage site and a world natural wonder that teems with a wide range of wildlife all year round. The Crater floor comprises of different ecological zones that inhabit various wildlife species including lions, leopard, rhinos, buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, hyenas, and cheetahs among others thus attracting thousands of visitors each year to experience its uniqueness and biodiversity.

Enjoy driving through various trails on the crater floor witnessing different wildlife species while marveling at the stunning beauty of the Ngorongoro Crater. When it approaches time for lunch, your will enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic but safe spot in the crater.

After lunch, proceed with your exploration the Ngorongoro crater. As your day comes to a close, ascend back to the crater rim to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 10: Travel back to Arusha & Departure

Today marks the end of this classic 10 Days Tanzania Wildlife Safari. Wake up lazily and enjoy breakfast at your lodge. After breakfast, depart the lodge and start your drive back to Arusha. Lunch will be en-route. Arrive in Arusha at late afternoon and drop off at your preferred location (Hotel or Airport).
