Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

From Kampala or Entebbe, you’ll be picked up and transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to start your 10 Days Gorillas-wildlife & Beach Safari. This long journey will take you through the beautiful and scenic countryside of Uganda, teeming with dramatic landscapes. You’ll drive past several popular towns and cities. Lunch will be en route.

Arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the evening and drive to your booked safari lodge in Bwindi. Arrive at the lodge and check in. Spend the rest of your day at the lodge.

Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Enjoy an early morning breakfast at the lodge. After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing session. The park officials will provide you with valuable information about gorillas, gorilla trekking rules and regulations, safety tips for gorilla trekking, and what to expect during the trek. After the briefing session, you’ll indulge in the impenetrable forests of Bwindi to search for the endangered mountain gorillas. You’ll navigate challenging terrains and thick vegetation undergrowth in the forests. You’ll finally locate the mountain gorillas in their natural habitat and enjoy observing them.

Gorillas share DNA with humans and to no surprise, you’ll witness them mimic human behaviors. After your life changing encounter, return back to the starting point. You will be presented with a certificate of participation at the visitors center. Return to the lodge for lunch and a short rest. After lunch, you’ll embark on another thrilling tour. You’ll visit the local Batwa community for an immersive cultural experience. The Batwa are indigenous people with a unique culture and way of life. Enjoy interacting with them, witness their cultural performances and learn about their ways of the forest. Late return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

 Day 3: Transfer to Rwanda’s Kigali International Airport & Fly to Tanzania

After an early morning breakfast, embark on a transfer to Kigali International Airport in Rwanda for a flight to Tanzania. Arrive in Kigali and board your flight to Tanzania’s Kilimanjaro International Airport. Upon arrival in Tanzania, you’ll be received by your Tanzania Safari guide who then transfers you to your booked Hotel in Arusha.

Arrive at the lodge and check in.

Spend the rest of your day relaxing at your hotel.

Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4: Visit to Lake Manyara National Park

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. After breakfast, embark on a journey to Lake Manyara National Park for a morning game drive. Arrive at the park and proceed with a wildlife game viewing drive in various sections of the park. Lake Manyara National Park offers an insight into the Great Rift Valley system and the adaptation of many herd animals and magnificent birdlife that can all be seen on your adventure. The park features diverse ecosystems that are inhabited by a variety of animals, including the famous tree-climbing lions, buffalos, blue monkeys, elephants, wildebeest, and zebras among others.

You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch in the park and continue with your adventure. Visit the Esilalei Maasai Village to explore the area, and meet local women engineers who have installed clean cookstoves throughout these communities. You’ll also visit the Mto wa Mbu village to enjoy an immersive cultural experience. After your adventure, zig zag your way up the Rift Valley Escarpment and onto the crater highlands where your safari lodge is located. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 5: Travel to Ngorongoro Crater

Enjoy an early morning breakfast at the lodge. After breakfast, embark on atransfer to the Ngorongoro Crater. You’ll drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you get an opportunity to witness the diverse wildlife that inhabit this area. You’ll also visit the Olduvai George, one of the most outstanding paleoanthropological sites in the world, with traces of pre-historic man. Later proceed with your drive to the crater rime arriving in time for lunch.

Drive to your lodge and check in. Lunch will be served at the lodge, enjoy lunch as you prepare for your first adventure in the Ngorongoro Crater. After lunch, descend into the crater floor for an unbeatable wildlife viewing adventure. The crater floor features a number of ecosystems that teem with a diverse range of wildlife species including lions, leopards, rhinos, buffalos, elephants, giraffes, hippos, zebras, wildebeest, and crocodiles among others. You’ll enjoy viewing various wildlife in the crater floor until sundown.

After your adventure, return back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Transfer to Serengeti & full day Game drives at the Serengeti

After breakfast, drive to the nearby Serengeti National Park to spend the entire day exploring its vast plains. The iconic Serengeti National Park is renowned for its large numbers of wildlife including the African Big Five (lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo, and elephant). You’ll discover the vast Serengeti National Park for opportunities to witness its charming diversity and natural wonders like the great wildebeest migration.

Lunch will be enjoyed at a scenic spot within the park. After lunch, continue with your exploration of Serengeti National Park. Discover its stunning landscapes and unbeatable beauty on your game drive. As your day draws to a close, drive to your booked safari lodge within Serengeti for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7: Transfer to the Airstrip & Fly to  Zanzibar

After breakfast, drive to Seronera airstrip for a charter flight back to Arusha. At Arusha, you will board another flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Zanzibar airport/seaport, you will be transferred to Sunshine Marine Lodge on Matemwe Beach Hotel. You will have several hours to rest as you look out to nothing but spectacular views of the Beach. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 8: Water sports at a Zanzibar beach

Zanzibar’s turquoise waters are identified as suitable pockets for a variety of water sports. There is also a prevalence of exceptional sea creatures and reefs as well as the gentle oceanic creatures that make you feel the need to view more, quietly as you take in the phenomenal views of the ocean. Therefore, you will have a 20-minute sail to Mnemba Marine Park for snorkeling after breakfast. In this place, the reefs are good and impressive to see. In the evening, you can relax at the lodge and have sunset views with a special dinner under artistically made lights.

Day 9: Visit the Stone Town

From Matemwe Beach, travel to Stone Town at the hotel of your choice. Arrive at Stone Town and check in at your hotel. You’ll then embark on a guided walking safari in this historical Stone town, and get an introduction to its history and major attractions. You’ll witness the unique culture with tradition as you navigate through the walkways and have views of old buildings and ancient sites of the slave trade. After the tour, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 10: Stone town tour and departure

Wake up and enjoy breakfast, after breakfast, go for a short Spice tour. You’ll enjoy an opulent Swahili lunch served in a local house. During this tour, you will learn more about the history of the Mtoni palace ruins. After the tour, return to the hotel and check out, You’ll then transfer to Zanzibar airport for a departure flight back to Kilimanjaro Airport. From here, you’ll board your flight back home.
