Day 1: Transfer from Arusha town to Serengeti National Park.

From Arusha, you’ll be picked up and transferred to Serengeti National Park. This scenic journey lasts for about 4 hours from Arusha to Serengeti, you’ll drive through the scenic countryside of Tanzania witnessing its dramatic landscapes and natural beauty. You’ll arrive at Serengeti National Park in the afternoon and then proceed to your booked safari lodge. Arrive at the lodge and check in. Enjoy a short rest and lunch at the lodge.

After lunch, embark on your first adventure on this 6 Days Tanzania & Uganda Safari, depart your lodge, and embark on a wildlife-viewing game drive in Serengeti National Park. Day 2: Full-day wildlife safari experience in Serengeti National Park.

Today, you’ll spend your day exploring the iconic Serengeti National Park for unrivaled wildlife viewing experience. Start your day early in the morning with breakfast, after breakfast, depart the lodge with your packed lunch boxes and embark on a sunrise game drive adventure in the vast Serengeti wilderness. For those who wish to catch a glimpse at the spectacular wildebeest migration, today you stand a great chance. You’ll adventure various sections of the park, follow the great migration trails, and also explore the unique wilderness area of the Serengeti National Park.

While on this full-day adventure in Serengeti National Park, expect to witness various wildlife species including; crocodiles, hippos, zebras, ostriches, and elephants among others. While on your adventure, keep an eye out for the iconic African Big Five species. As it approaches lunchtime, your experienced drive guide will take you to a safe and scenic spot within the park from where you’ll enjoy your lunch.

After lunch, continue with your adventure in Serengeti, and explore different wildlife hotspots within the park for more wildlife viewing opportunities. As the sun sets, you’ll have an opportunity to witness the golden hue cast on the vast Serengeti wilderness creating a scenic background for photography. Finally after your adventure, drive back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer from Serengeti National Park to Arusha & fly to Uganda.

Today, wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast at your lodge. After breakfast, bid farewell to Serengeti National Park as you will start your journey back to Arusha. This scenic journey to Arusha will once again grant you an opportunity to witness the scenic Tanzania countryside. Lunch will be enjoyed en route. Arrive at Arusha and proceed with your drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your booked flight to Uganda’s Entebbe International Airport.

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be received and welcomed by our representatives in Uganda and transferred to your booked hotel within Entebbe Town. You will arrive at the hotel and check in. You will spend the rest of your day relaxing at your hotel in Entebbe or go for an optional city tour in Entebbe at an extra cost.

Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Early in the morning, your driver guide will pick you up from the hotel and transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. (There is also an option of flying from either Entebbe or Kajjansi Airfield to Kisoro from where you can connect to Bwindi) The journey from Entebbe to Bwindi is a long journey that lasts for about 8 to 9 hours. This journey takes you through the scenic countryside, witnessing its dramatic landscapes and natural beauty. On your journey to Bwindi, stop at the equator for photos and the equator experiment. Lunch will be en route. After, continue with your drive to Bwindi, arriving in the early evening.

Upon arrival in the park, drive to your booked safari lodge. Arrive at the lodge and check in. Relax and unwind from your lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking In Bwindi Forest National Park

Wake up early in the morning to experience the long-awaited mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Start your day early in the morning with a sumptuous breakfast at your lodge, after breakfast head to the park headquarters where you join groups of other trekkers for a briefing session. During the briefing session, you’ll be provided with all the necessary information for a successful gorilla trek. You will be offered the gorilla trekking rules and regulations, safety tips and insights of how the trek is generally.

After the briefing session, you and other 7 members will be allocated a gorilla family that you will be trekking in the forest. Each group is led by a team of experienced range guides and trackers who ensure your safety during the trek and also offer you knowledge about the forest and the rest of its inhabitants.

The excitement increases as you grab your hiking stick and delve into the jungle in search of the endangered gorillas in their natural habitat following the lead of your ranger guide. Gorilla trekking is a generally demanding activity and expect to navigate through thick forests with thick undergrowth and uneven terrain. You will anywhere between 30 minutes to 3 hours looking for these primates in their natural habitat. After allocating them, you’ll enjoy a life-changing encounter with these majestic giants. After locating the gorillas, you will be thrilled and you will enjoy your interaction with these majestic gorillas of course not forgetting to take photos and videos for memories. Enjoy watching them as they go by their day, learn about how the gorillas go about their daily lives, feeding patterns, and making nests among others. Witness them mimic human behaviors like mothers grooming their young ones among others.

Later after the trek, you will head back to your lodge for a refreshing meal and relaxation. In the afternoon, embark on an immersive cultural tour to the local communities for a unique experience. Visit the local Batwa, also known as the Batwa pygmies – a tribe of hunter-gatherers that were the initial inhabitants of the Bwindi Forest. Experience their unique way of life. Later return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay

Day 6: Transfer back to Entebbe airport for departure.
