Day 01: Fly-in to Amboseli National Park

From your hotel in Nairobi, your driver guide will pick you up and transfer you to Wilson Airport in Nairobi for a scheduled flight to Amboseli National Park. The flight from Nairobi to Amboseli will take about 40 minutes. Upon arrival at Amboseli National Park, you’ll be received by your Driver guide who will then take you for your first adventure on this 8 Days Kenya and Bwindi Gorilla Safari.

Embark on a game drive adventure in Amboseli National Park for opportunities to witness its iconic wildlife and natural wonders. Amboseli National Park draws its fame from the large herds of elephants with the giant tuskers that roam its vast landscapes. Besides large herds of elephants this National Park is also home to other members of the African Big Five Animals ( Lion, Leopard, Rhino, and buffalo), giraffes, zebras, gazelles, hyenas and various bird species. You’ll enjoy viewing different wildlife species in the park on this morning gam drive adventure.

When it approaches lunchtime, drive to your books safari lodge within Amboseli National Park and check in. Lunch will be served at the lodge.

After lunch and a short rest, embark on another thrilling adventure in Amboseli National Park. Explore various wildlife hotspots within the park for opportunities to spot various wildlife species on your  8 Days Amboseli – Masai Mara Safari & Bwindi Gorilla Safari. After your evening game drive, drive back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 02: Full-Day Adventure in Amboseli National Park

Start your day early in the morning with breakfast at your lodge. After breakfast, depart the lodge and embark on a full day adventure in Amboseli National Park. Explore the vast Amboseli National Park on this day of your tour, visit various wildlife hotspots for wildlife viewing opportunities.

Your morning game drive will grant you opportunities to witness Amboseli’s braw beauty as you’ll come across various wildlife species including; lions, leopards, buffalos, elephants, Hyenas, Cheetahs, giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, warthogs, and various antelope species. You’ll also explore various areas of this magnificent park to witness its charming landscapes and the stunning backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro. In the evening, drive back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 03: Fly to Nairobi & then to Masai Mara National Reserve

Early in the morning, enjoy an early morning game drive in Amboseli National Park before you transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve. After your morning adventure, you’ll drive back to the lodge for dinner and refreshments before driving back to Nairobi. Arrive at Nairobi and drive to Wilson Airport for a scheduled flight to Masai Mara National Reserve.

Fly to Masai Mara National Reserve where you’ll be spending the next day of this 8 Days Amboseli – Masai Mara Safari & Bwindi Gorilla Safari. Upon arrival at Masai Mara, you’ll be received by your Masai Mara driver guide who will then drive you to your booked safari lodge.

Arrive at the lodge and check in. You  can spend the rest of your day at the lodge relaxing or go for a short wildlife viewing adventure in Masai Mara National Reserve. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 04: Full-day game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve

Start your day early in the morning with a delicious breakfast at the lodge. After breakfast, embark on a full day adventure in Masai Mara National Reserve. Depart your lodge with packed lunch boxes and embark on a game drive adventure in Masai Mara National Reserve. Masai Mara National Reserve is renowned for its large wildlife numbers including the African Big Five Animals (lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo, and elephant), and several other top wildlife species like hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, hyenas, cheetahs, and various antelope species among others.  Enjoy exploring various areas within the reserve for incredible wildlife viewing opportunities. Your driver guide is knowledgeable and will take you to wildlife hotspots in the Reserve to ensure you witness various wildlife species in the park. Fo those who wish to witness the Wildebeest Migration, you’ll follow various migration routes for opportunities to spot large herds of migrating mammals.

Lunch will be enjoyed at a scenic spot within the reserve while taking in the breathtaking views of the vast wilderness. After lunch, you’ll continue with your adventure in Masai Mara National Reserve. Late in the evening drive back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 05: Fly to Nairobi & then to Entebbe – Uganda

Wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast at the lodge, after breakfast check out of your lodge and drive to the Airstrip. At the airstrip, you’ll fly to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport. You’ll be picked up and transferred to Jomo Kenyatta Inter National Airport to catch your outbound flight to Uganda.

Arrive at Uganda’s Entebbe International Airport. At the Airport in Uganda, you’ll be picked up and transferred to your booked safari lodge within Entebbe town. Spend the rest of your day relaxing at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 06: Fly to Bwindi Forest National Park

Today wake up early in the morning and have breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, depart your hotel and drive to Entebbe International Airport to catch your charter flight to Kisoro’s Kihihi Airstrip. Arrive at Kihihi Airstrip and embark on a 2 hour drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park where you’ll be spending the next day of your 8 Days Amboseli – Masai Mara Safari & Bwindi Gorilla Safari adventure.

Arrive in Bwindi and transfer to your booked lodge. An optional evening community visit can be arranged at extra fees or you can spend the rest of your day relaxing at the lodge in preparation for tomorrow’s incredible adventure. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 07: Gorilla Trekking Experience

On this day, you’ll embark on a life-changing gorilla trekking journey. Start your day early in the morning with breakfast. After breakfast, depart the lodge and go to the park headquarters. Join other trekkers for a gorilla trekking briefing session. The park rangers will provide you with all the necessary information to make your gorilla trekking journey a great success and memorable journey. After the briefing, you’ll follow the lead of your ranger guide and indulge deep in the jungles to search for endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitat.

You’ll traverse through the thick forest, navigate challenging terrain, and thick vegetation cover until you finally locate gorillas. After locating gorillas in the wild, enjoy observing these majestic giants in their natural habitat for about 1 full hour. You’ll enjoy time with the gorillas, and take as many pictures as possible for memories of an encounter with these majestic creatures in the future. After the allocated 1 hour observation time, you will start the trek back to the starting point. Arrive at the park headquarters where you’ll be offered a certificate of participation. Return to your lodge for a refreshing meal and a short rest.

An optional community tour can be arranged in the Afternoon.

Day 08: Fly to Entebbe International Airport

Start your day early in the morning with breakfast. After breakfast, depart your lodge and drive to Kihihi Airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Entebbe. Arrive at Entebbe International Airport and connect to your flight back home.
