Day 1:  Pick up & transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

From Entebbe or Kampala, you’ll be picked up to start this 9 Days Uganda Gorilla &Tanzania Safari. You’ll enjoy this long journey through Uganda’s scenic countryside viewing the dramatic landscapes and natural beauty. You’ll stop at the Uganda Equator for an informative talk, a photographic opportunity, and some experiments, before continuing with you drive to Bwindi. Lunch will be enjoyed in Mbarara.

Continue with a drive through the rolling green hills of banana and tea plantations. Arrive in Bwindi in the evening. Drive to your booked safari lodge and check-in. Spend the rest of your day at the lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi & Cultural tour

Start your day with breakfast. After breakfast set off and head for gorilla trekking, arrive at the park headquarters, and join other trackers for a briefing about the dos and don’ts during your gorilla tracking. After the briefing, indulge in the dense jungles of Bwindi to search for the elusive gorillas in their natural habitat. You will trek through thick creepers and undergrowth while being guided by your ranger/guides. After a long trek in the forest, you’ll finally locate the gorillas and spend quality time observing them.

9 Days Uganda Gorillas and Tanzania Safari

Enjoy this encounter in the forest, witness young ones play, and adults feed all under the watchful silverback. After your allocated time elapses, start your journey back to the visitors center. You’ll be presented with a certificate of participation at the park headquarters.

Return to the lodge for a refreshing meal and a short rest. After lunch, embark on an immersive cultural tour to the Batwa community to learn about their unique ways of life, lifestyle, and traditions, and enjoy different performances. Later return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer back to Entebbe Airport for evening flights to Arusha Tanzania

After morning breakfast, you’ll drive back to Entebbe International Airport for your evening flight to Tanzania. Arrive at Tanzania’s Kilimanjaro International Airport where your Tanzania Safari guide will meet and welcome you to Tanzania. You’ll then transfer to your booked hotel in Arusha. Spend the rest of the day relaxing at your hotel

Day 4: Travel to Ngorongoro Crater

Following an early morning breakfast at the lodge, embark on a transfer to Ngorongoro Crater where you’ll enjoy your first wildlife viewing in Tanzania on this 9 Days Uganda Gorilla &Tanzania Safari. You’ll arrive in time for lunch and proceed with a drive to the crater rim where your lodge is located. Arrive at the lodge and check-in.

Lunch will be served at the lodge, enjoy lunch and a short rest at the lodge. After lunch, embark on your first wildlife safari in Tanzania, and head out for an evening game drive. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater floor for opportunities to witness the diverse wildlife that call this place home. The Ngorongoro Crater floor is a wildlife haven in Tanzania boasting a healthy population of all African Top wildlife species including lions, leopards, rhinos, buffalos, elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, hyenas, hippos, zebras, and wildebeest among others. Enjoy sightseeing of various species on this evening game drive. Later return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Full Day Game Viewing in Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast go for a full game drive in Ngorongoro Craters. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the areas in the world with the highest numbers of wild animals. You’ll enjoy spotting various species including the famous African Big Five of Tanzania, Lions, black rhinos, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, hyenas, cheetahs, and many others.

You’ll also encounter herds of wildebeest, hippos, and zebra among others. During this full-day game viewing, you will have a stopover for lunch. After lunch continue with game viewing in the southern part of the park, visit Lake Magadi where you will see lots of flamingos, hippos, water birds, and other wildlife. Later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Drive to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, transfer from Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park home to the wildebeest migration and the African Big Five Animals. Upon arrival at Serengeti National Park, proceed on a game drive adventure in the Serengeti plains to look for different wildlife species that inhabit this National Park. As it approaches lunchtime, you’ll drive to your booked safari lodge. Arrive at the lodge and check in at the lodge. Lunch will be served at the lodge.

After lunch, embark on another adventure in Serengeti National Park. Serengeti National Park is home to a healthy population of various wildlife species including; lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, rhinos, hyenas, crocodiles, hippos, warthogs, baboons, monkeys, gazelles, impalas, topis, hartebeests, dik-diks, and jackals among others. Enjoy your adventure in the evening while viewing all the different wildlife species.

Later drive back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7: Full Day Game Viewing in Serengeti National Park

Wake up early in the morning and enjoy an early morning breakfast at the lodge. After breakfast, embark on a full day game-viewing adventure in Serengeti National Park. Depart the lodge with your parked lunch boxes and head to Serengeti plains to search for various wildlife species. For those who wish to see the wildebeest migration unfold in Serengeti National Park, you’ll have better opportunities. Start your journey while following the migration trails for better chances of spotting large herds of the migrating mammal. During the game drive, keep an eye out for the African Big Five Animals that roam the vast wilderness of Serengeti National Park. You’ll have a lunch break and later continue with your exploration of Serengeti National Park.

At down, you’ll enjoy the stunning views of the golden Serengeti wilderness created by the setting sun. Later return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 8: Transfer to Tarangire National Park

After morning breakfast, your driver-guide will transfer you to Tarangire National Park. Arrive in Tarangire and enjoy an en route game drive to your booked safari lodge. Check in at the lodge and enjoy a short rest and lunch.

After lunch, you’ll embark on a wildlife safari experience in Tanzania’s Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park is popular for its large herds of elephants that are accustomed to safari vehicles. While on your adventure here, you’ll view these majestic giants just a few meters away from your safari vehicle. Among other wildlife you’ll see in the park are lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, rhinos, hyenas, crocodiles, hippos, warthogs, baboons, monkeys, gazelles, impalas, and topis among others. Later after your adventure, you’ll return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 9: Departure and fly back via Kilimanjaro airport

After breakfast, you will go for an early morning game viewing, and after the mid-morning drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your return flight back home.
