Detailed itinerary for 3 Day Gorilla Trekking Tour In Uganda-Rushaga Sector
DAY 1 Entebbe – Southern Bwindi Forest NP
Approximately – 542kms/9-10hrs drive
Upon arrival on an early morning flight, our expert driver guide will pick you up and transfer you straight away to the Southern Sector of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. As we drive through the country side, you will have a glimpse of the locals and the different ways they carry on community based tourism like crafts making, landscapes, and sunsets
Lunch will be en-route as we continue on to the Switzerland of Uganda – the district of Kisoro part-home of the endangered mountain gorillas. Arriving early evening, we will check into our Lodge and relax by the lounge either reading a book or looking at the surrounding hills.
Overnight– Lake Mutanda Resort.
Meal Plan– Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

DAY 2 Gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Have an early morning breakfast and after breakfast, transfer to the park offices for a briefing about the do’s and don’ts and then you will embark on the venture of your life. Trekking through the steep, densely forested hills and then finally coming across the gorillas cloaked in the foliage is a rousing moment.
Do not leave these items behind- your passport, camera, hiking boots, long safari pants and shirts plus a light rain jacket. These will come in handy as you go through the thick forest and encounter the unpredictable weather of Bwindi: it can decide to rain and shine anytime.
Overnight- Lake Mutanda Resort

DAY 3: Transfer back to Entebbe
Approximately 542Kms 9-10hrs drive
Breakfast will be had and then check out of the hotel and head back to Entebbe by road past the Famous Uganda Equator in time for our evening flight back home- Our journey will take us through the undulating hills such a great moment for photo opportunities.
